![]() I will post some pictures and a review of the lens after I have click some photos this weekend. It has been raining in New Delhi for last few days so that is also a good thing because it means there will be plenty of flowers around and a few insects out of the ground as well, LOL. So that should give me ample of opportunity to click some close up photos. There is plenty of flowers and vegetation there. Plan is to visit a few monuments site in New Delhi like Humayun’s tomb or Lodi Garden. I bought it on Sunday evening and then was back at work on Monday so did not get much time to test drive the lens yet. So far I have not had a chance to use the lens. Since I bought it from the same dealer that I got my 7200 from, I was able to save a couple thousands more. It actually was among the cheapest ones available. To be honest I was quite surprised how expensive these lenses were for a minute it made me wonder whether I actually wanted to buy a Macro.įinally after my mind was made up, I then settled on this Nikon 40mm lens mainly because it fitted into my budget and I also read great reviews about it. While I was browsing the web deciding which camera to buy next, another purchase that I was considering was of a Macro lens. For last few months I was considering to buy a new camera and then finally bought a Nikon D7200 last weekend. Ze hebben een groot diafragma en een prachtige bokeh. I have been using a Nikon D7000 for last few years. Deze lenzen zijn inzetbaar voor veel fotogenres. Looking at those close up photos of flowers, small insects and other things always made me want to click some. Recently however, I decided to try my hand at Macro photography and bought a Nikon AF-S DX Micro 40mm F/2.8G Prime Lens. Macro photography has always fascinated me. ![]() My photography kit only consisted of a DSLR, the normal lens that came with the DSLR and a Telephoto 70-300. Unfortunately however, I have so far never owned a Macro lens. Looking at those close up photos of flowers, small insects and other things always made me want to click some myself. Macro photography has always fascinated me.
